Meet Our Founders

PetIsland is run by three very serious executives. None of them are human.

 

Manyi — Founder & CEO

A gray domestic shorthair with a little white triangle on her chest — yes, the silhouette in our logo. Manyi runs PetIsland the way she runs everything: clingy and affectionate until she's bored, then suddenly the most important cat in the room. She's a devoted chicken connoisseur (and a shameless picky eater), demands belly rubs strictly on her own terms, and spends her afternoons gazing out the window, contemplating the deeper questions of cat life. Big-picture thinker, small-picture napper.

 

 

 

Ponyo — Chief Cuddle Officer

A Maltese who firmly believes every ounce of attention in the room belongs to her — and gets just a little jealous when it doesn't. Ponyo is pure warmth and enthusiasm: first to greet you, last to stop playing. Her management philosophy is simple — maximum love, maximum playtime, and absolutely zero patience for being ignored.

 

Snoopy — Chief Adventure Officer

A golden retriever and the gentle giant of the team: warm, thoughtful, and — we'll just say it — the smartest one in the building. Snoopy lives for the outdoors, always chasing the next trail, the next smell, the next place to explore. He reads a room before anyone else does and is the only founder who actually thinks two steps ahead. If a product is made for adventures beyond the backyard, it's because Snoopy approved it.

 

So… what about the humans?

We just work here. PetIsland was founded by a team of people who love these three a little too much — but let's be honest about who's really in charge. Manyi, Ponyo, and Snoopy are the three silhouettes in our logo, and the three bosses behind everything we do. We started PetIsland with one simple wish: that every pet, everywhere, gets to be loved well and live a happy life. So every product here has to pass our founders' (very high) standards before it earns a spot on the island — because your pets deserve exactly what we'd want for ours. If it made the cut, the bosses approved it. 🐾
